Answer selected: Florida is a world leader in Sentence™ exports

I noticed that the image attached to the Bluesky post appears to be a screenshot from X/Twitter, so I started by attempting to track down the original post. I searched WXYZ 7 News, the account in the screenshot, on Google and was met with a legitimate news channel of the same name based in Detroit, Michigan. I must assume this is an old photo because the channel goes by @wxyzdetroit today. I cannot find a perfect match for @wxyz7news.

On the WXYZ channel website, no results were consistent with any details from this headline. Additionally, neither a Google Image search or Microsoft Edge Image search produced results connected to any type of article or source beside this original post and similar ones across platforms.

The most detailed information I was able to locate was a related Facebook post by The Dude Humor Report, a fake news platform. This is directly copied from their bio: "Dude Humor — where breaking news meets pure entertainment. for wild headlines and viral stories. Disclaimer: This page features satire and parody stories that are exaggerated, developing fictional — created for entertainment purposes only" The page is owned by TBC Viral Media, a company that produces exaggerated content (and is really concerned with preventing copyright and intellectual property conflicts apparently).

Dude Humor Report seems to have taken the original post and fabricated a story to go along with it, as with most of their other content, for entertainment purposes and is not based in fact and should not be considered a reputable source of information. (link MALL BUCCANEER: FLORIDA WOMAN... - The Dude Humor Report | Facebook)

All things considered, this appears to be a fabricated story, or is extremely unreliably reported.

(Additionally, the claim in the title of this post is too vague to be determinate that Florida "world leader" of crazy situations. I can only assume this was the opinion trying to be communicated, and that can't be denied, it is not reasonable to say that Florida is particularly crazier than any other place in the world. Florida has the Public Records Law, (Chapter 119 - 2025 Florida Statutes - The Florida Senate) which grant anyone permission to request access to Florida Public Records without verifying their identity or listing a reason. Many people utilize this tool to find outlandish or interesting arrest records that they can utilize for engagement. While every state has some version of a public records search, Florida's appears to be one of the easiest and most accessible, which MAY have an effect on the large amount of coverage of the "Florida Man" headlines compared to other states or countries.)

At first, it sounds believable because pomegranates are known to be really healthy, but when I checked the original article, it didn’t really back up its claims with strong scientific evidence. So I looked into more reliable sources like Harvard Health Publishing https://www.health.harvard.edu/heart-health/fruit-of-the-month-pomegranate and the Cleveland Clinic https://health.clevelandclinic.org/pomegranate-benefits. From what I found, pomegranates do contain antioxidants and vitamin C, which can help protect your skin and support overall skin health. That means they can contribute to healthier-looking skin over time. But none of these sources actually say that eating pomegranates will make your skin “glow” noticeably or immediately.

What I realized is that the idea of “glowing skin” is kind of vague and often comes from beauty trends or marketing, not real scientific proof. Skin appearance depends on a lot of different factors, like hydration, overall diet, sleep, and even genetics, not just one fruit. So while I do think pomegranates are a good addition to a healthy diet, the claim is exaggerated because it makes it sound like they’ll directly and quickly change how your skin looks.

Answer selected: Sebastia site closed 3 days during Passover/Holy Week, sparking apocalyptic speculation among some groups.

The claim about the Sebastia site being closed for three days and triggering apocalyptic speculation is unverified and likely misleading. While it is possible that access to historical or religious sites can be temporarily restricted due to security or administrative reasons, there is no credible evidence that such a closure occurred in the way described or that it is connected to apocalyptic prophecies. The claim appears to rely heavily on speculation and emotionally charged language rather than verifiable facts. I was unable to find any direct primary sources confirming the claim, such as official government statements, religious authority announcements, or verified documentation about the closure of Sebastia. The only direct source of the claim is a Bluesky post from an unverified account (“noornewsenglish”): https://bsky.app/profile/noornewsenglish.bsky.social/post/3mhjsevsad52s I could not find coverage of this event from major news organizations such as BBC News or Reuters. Social media accounts may prioritize engagement and political messaging over accuracy. It is also true that religious events like Passover and Holy Week can lead to increased attention and speculation. There are no verified reports confirming the closure of Sebastia for three days. I attempted to evaluate the original claim by reviewing the Bluesky post, but the account does not provide clear contact information or supporting evidence.

Answer selected: AI is being used to analyse athletes’ performances and make decisions that could replace human coaches

After looking into the claim that AI is being used to analyse athletes' performances and make decisions that could replace human coaches, I found that most of the argument seems to be true. AI is being used to parse enormous data sets, deliver more precise decisions, personalize experiences, generate predictions that guide strategy, and many other things that used to take human coaching staff hours. This new adaptation has given way to many new diverse and allows coaches and players to get a deeper and more detailed account of athletes' data. The part of the claim I don't agree with is that AI will take over the job of a coach.

Although AI can give detailed and speedy data and can also be used to come up with a game strategy, the coaching job is just as much a strategy as it is a human connection. Derek M. Hansen, a world-renowned sport performance consultant and advisor to some of the top organizations, teams, and athletes in professional and elite sports over the last 20 years, said, "the very best coaches have a knack for understanding the individual differences in top athletes and tailoring their coaching to achieve the best results for those individuals". AI may be able to come up with the best formation, tactics, or lineup, but it will never have the heart and drive that every good coach has and pushes onto their players.

Answer selected: Disney is losing $30 million a week because of Youtube TV

This claim that Disney loses $30 million a week is only partially correct. While Disney has pulled its channels from YouTube TV (ESPN & ABC), the financial claim of $30 million is not at all credible.

By pulling their channels off of YouTube TV, Disney is pursuing long-term licensing fees for its content, making YouTube TV choose if loosing subscriptions is worth not having Disney owned content on their platform. It is misleading to say Disney is loosing upwards of $30 million a week due to this strategic plan.

The claim that YouTube TV would need to raise their subscription price to $20 is also incorrect as the streaming service already costs more than that. Also, describing Disney's actions as "greedy"is incorrect without more context. Disney is trying to protect their worth, and know that their content deserves more than what YouTube TV was paying them to stream Disney content.

Keep in mind that this is all from the perspective of someone who doesn't have the full context of the post that the op is in reference to.

The complexities of this situation are apparent to me, but the Huntington theory is just that, a theory. Samuel P. Huntington isn't an oracle of the future. And while Crimea was vulnerable and dismantled, that doesn't justify Russia's intervention. The identity of Crimea in both its citizenry and culture can, like most social structures, change with time. Huntington knew a very different Crimea and Ukraine than the ones we do now. And there was a clear struggle in 2014 that suggests that Crimea isn't Russian in the way it might've been before.

I'll label this as 'No available information' just to be safe.

Sources:

Bluesky, while arguably more credible than most social media platforms, is still a media platform with user biases and misinformation baked in. Also, to say that NATO is "founded by nazis" is a complete over-exaggeration. NATO has major fascistic influences in the same way that every other major ideology has some say in the decisions NATO makes as an organization. The only nazi who ever came close to influencing NATO was Heinrich Himmler and even then he never actually managed to do so in life.

Sources:

NATO's Nazi roots -

Heinrich Himmler -

After fact-checking this, it turns out to be true. When you search, this is only one of the sources that come up. All of the other sources, though, confirm the same thing: that China found the biggest deposit of gold. Some other sources include Science Alert, Live Science, and EuroNews. All of these sources confirm that over 80 billion dollars of gold were found in China. Obviously, other news outlets reported on the same, but these were the most reputable!
Answered: Wildfires in the U.S. have doubled in frequency over the past decade due to climate change.

While the claim that “wildfires in the U.S. have doubled in frequency over the past decade due to climate change” highlights the increasing effects climate change is having on our planet, and in this instance specifically our country, the claim is not entirely accurate. The source that this claim originates from is no longer available, but research from other agencies like NASA and the United States Geological Survey does not provide enough evidence to support the claim that wildfires have doubled in frequency in the U.S.

Based on their reports from their satellites, NASA has concluded that “extreme wildfire activity has doubled worldwide in the last 21 years. However, this refers to the extreme wildfires on a global scale, not only in the United States. Secondly, in their reports, they said that they have increased in intensity, size, and frequency, especially in the western part of the United States. These findings are also supported by the United States Geological Survey’s website, which reinforced the role climate change has on wildfire activity as drier and hotter environments fuel more intense fires.

While these sources have shown that climate change is affecting the intensity and size of wildfires, has the actual number of them increased, as is being claimed? Actually, not really. The National Interagency Fire Center records show that wildfires have been relatively consistent in number, ranging from 50,000 to 70,000 wildfires a year since 2008.

In conclusion, while the wildfires have not doubled in frequency, this data shows that these wildfires are now bigger and more intense, which has serious effects on our ecosystems and national parks, but also on daily life for all, demonstrating that climate change has a definite impact, even if the claim is false.

Commented: You can drink too much water

I reviewed the claim that drinking too much water can be just as bad or worse than dehydration and can cause symptoms like headaches, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, brain fog, and sodium imbalance. Medical sources confirm that drinking excessive amounts of water can be harmful in rare cases and can lead to a condition called hyponatremia, where sodium levels in the blood become too diluted. This can cause symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, muscle cramps, and fatigue. However, reliable health sources also explain that this condition is uncommon in healthy people and usually only occurs when very large amounts of water are consumed in a short period of time or in specific medical or endurance situations. The kidneys normally regulate water and sodium balance effectively in most people. Overall, the claim is partially accurate because it correctly identifies possible effects of overhydration, but it is overstated in suggesting that drinking too much water is commonly just as dangerous as dehydration.

Answered: Zelensky is just a MI6/CIA/MOSSAD puppet

The source backing up the claim that Zelensky is just a MI6/CIA/MOSSAD puppet is a post on the bsky.app of Joe Rogan's podcast interviewing Gavin de Becker who is an American security expert and author. The user who posted this 2:45 minute clip of The Joe Rogan Experience name is Bil Gladen, and his profile picture is Bin Laden merged with a cartoon-like face. According to bbc.com, Zelensky was formerly a comedian and also named his party after his most notable series, Servant of the People. He was heavily funded by oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, who funded Zelensky's campaign and been under investigation for fraud and money laundering. Despite the worries that Zelensky came out of nowhere, Becker's claim that he is "a construct, like Epstein is a construct" is something that is more of a theory rather than can be proven at this moment. Becker also never said who Zelensky was a "construct" to, so the claim that Zelensky is Mossad, MI6 or CIA affiliated is just another interpretation of Becker's interview with Joe Rogan, which in it of itself is an interpretation of Zelensky as well. The bottom line is that Becker never mentions MI6, Mossad, or the CIA, he rather lists some facts to back up his theories of Zelensky being a plant. A more accurate title to this claim would be "American Security expert Gavin de Becker claims that Zelensky is a constrict" as that was his main point by the end of the 2:45 clip, not that Zelensky was a CIA/MI6/Mossad puppet.

Post by @bilgladen.bsky.social — Bluesky

Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky: The comedian who became a wartime leader

Answered: Joe Biden is responsible for both the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Israel–Hamas war.

Think of this as your investigation log. Answer each question to explain what you discovered and how you got there.

1. Write a brief overall summary of your findings.
2. What primary sources did you find (e.g., transcripts, videos of politician speeches, tweets from public figures, scientific studies)? For each source, write at least one or two sentences explaining what you learned. Include all links.
3. What secondary sources did you find (e.g., newspapers, magazines)? Only use secondary sources if sufficient primary sources are not available. For each source, write at least one or two sentences explaining what you learned. Include all links.
4. What potential biases or interests might each of your sources have?
5. What evidence supports the claim you are fact-checking?
6. What evidence undermines the claim you are fact-checking?
7. What happened when you tried contacting the person or group who made the original claim? (Always try to contact them—it’s okay if you don’t get a reply. For example, if the claim is that the president said something, try reaching out to the administration. If it was a Bluesky user, message that user on Bluesky.)

The claim that “Joe Biden is responsible for both the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Israel–Hamas war” is an oversimplification. Primary evidence shows Russia and Hamas made independent decisions to use military force; U.S. policy choices (Biden administration actions) are relevant context and have been criticized as contributing factors by some analysts, but they do not establish legal or direct causal responsibility.

Primary sources

Vladimir Putin speech/announcement (Russian rationale for Ukraine invasion, Feb 24, 2022). Shows Russia’s stated reasons for military action and that it was a Russian decision to invade.

Link (English transcript/coverage): https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60528408

Russian Ministry / Kremlin statements and declarations of “special military operation” (Feb 2022). Secondary commentary or opinion pieces assert such causal links. Examples: op-eds and analysts tracing NATO expansion or U.S. arms transfers as factors.

Example commentary describing NATO/U.S. role as provocation: https://www.economist.com/by-invitation/2022/03/10/why-nato-cannot-be-blamed-for-putins-war(opinion/analysis)

Opinion pieces linking U.S. policy to regional tensions (varies by outlet).

Evidence that undermines the claim

Primary decision-makers issued the orders: Putin authorized the Ukraine invasion; Hamas claimed and executed the October 7 attack.

A lot of those posts don’t include real evidence and tend to push a political viewpoint. I couldn’t find any credible source that directly says Biden caused either of these wars. Looking at more reliable sources like BBC and Reuters, they explain that the Russia Ukraine war started when Vladimir Putin ordered Russian troops into Ukraine in February 2022. For the Israel Hamas conflict, reports show it escalated after Hamas carried out attacks on Israel in October 2023, which led to Israel responding militarily. Both situations involve long-standing conflicts and decisions made by those directly involved. When you look at official statements and records, Russia itself announced the invasion of Ukraine. Hamas also publicly claimed responsibility for the attacks in Israel. I couldn’t find any primary source that connects Biden to starting either conflict. Some people argue that U.S. foreign policy plays a role in global tensions, which is fair to discuss. But that’s different from saying one person directly caused two separate wars. Both conflicts have been building for years, with a lot of historical and political factors behind them. There’s no solid evidence that Joe Biden is responsible for starting either war. The invasions and attacks were carried out by the countries and groups involved, and the situations are much more complicated than the claim suggests.

At first, I always thought pregnant people weren’t allowed to drink coffee at all, so I assumed it was completely off limits. But after doing some research, I found out that isn’t actually true. You can drink coffee during pregnancy, just in smaller amounts. Most health experts recommend limiting caffeine instead of cutting it out completely, usually around one cup of coffee a day or under 200 milligrams of caffeine. So the original claim is a bit exaggerated because it makes it sound like coffee is totally banned, when it’s really just something you have to moderate.

To look into this, I used a few primary sources from medical organizations. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Nutrition During Pregnancy explains that pregnant people should stay under about 200 mg of caffeine daily. This helped show that coffee itself isn’t the issue, it’s the amount of caffeine you’re getting. I also checked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Caffeine and Pregnancy, which mentions that high caffeine intake can increase risks like low birth weight. That helped explain why doctors tell people to be careful, even though coffee isn’t completely off-limits.

I also found supporting information from secondary sources. The Mayo Clinic Pregnancy Nutrition states that up to 200 mg of caffeine per day is generally considered safe, and it even breaks down how much caffeine is in different drinks like coffee. The March of Dimes Caffeine in Pregnancy also explains that too much caffeine can raise the risk of complications like low birth weight, which reinforces why limits are recommended.

These sources do have a possible bias since they are all medical and health-focused organizations. Their main goal is safety, so they tend to be more cautious and highlight potential risks more than everyday effects. Even though they aren’t trying to mislead anyone, their advice can sound stricter than what the actual evidence shows.

There is some evidence that supports the original claim because high caffeine intake during pregnancy has been linked to negative outcomes like miscarriage or low birth weight. Also, babies can’t process caffeine as well as adults, so it can affect them more. However, there is also strong evidence against the claim. None of the sources say coffee must be completely avoided. Instead, they all agree that small amounts of caffeine are okay, which shows the claim is too extreme.

I also tried to find where the original claim came from, but there wasn’t one clear source or person behind it. It seems more like something people repeat without checking it. Because of that, I relied on trusted medical websites to verify the information. Overall, my research shows that you can drink coffee while pregnant, just not too much, so the claim isn’t fully accurate.

Answered: Dark Chocolate Can be beneficial for people with Diabetes

This claim is mostly true but misleading. Dark chocolate (70%+ cocoa) contains compounds that might slightly improve insulin sensitivity and heart health, but the benefits for people with diabetes are small and not strongly proven. The claim comes from Abbott Laboratories, while it is a reputable company, it is not a peer reviewed study and may simplify the science. More neutral sources like the American Diabetes Association emphasize moderation and also note that evidence is limited. With the evidence given, dark chocolate can be a part of a balanced diet, but it should not be seen as a meaningful way to manage diabetes.

Answered: Grocery prices in the United States have gone down

This claim is false. The claim that grocery prices in the United States have gone down does not come from a single clear or reliable source, so it’s important to check the original data. The most trustworthy sources on this topic are the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the United States Department of Agriculture, both of which collect nationwide data on food prices. These organizations are nonpartisan and base their findings on large datasets, making them more reliable than social media posts or opinion-based news articles.

Based on their data and other credible coverage, grocery prices have continued to rise overall. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that food prices increased in the past year, and the USDA predicts they will keep rising slightly in 2026. While some individual items have dropped in price, most grocery categories are still more expensive than they were a year ago. This shows that although inflation has slowed, prices have not gone down overall.

When tracing the claim back to its original context, it becomes clear that it is based on a misunderstanding. Reports often say inflation is “cooling” or that certain items are cheaper, which can be misinterpreted as overall prices falling. However, slowing inflation simply means prices are increasing at a slower rate, not decreasing. Therefore, the claim that grocery prices in the United States have gone down is misleading and mostly false.

Sources

https://www.bls.gov/bls/about-bls.htm?

https://www.usda.gov/about-usda/general-information/our-agency?

Answered: There has been significantly more more jobs shown in the recent employment reports than expected by economists.

The claim is partially accurate, but somewhat misleading when you look closy at the original source and evidence. The numbers The numbers themselves come from the ADP National Employment Report, which is a legitimate source. ADP is a major payroll-processing company that uses real employment data from millions of workers, so its reports are generally credible. However, it is still a private company, not an official government source like the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This matters because ADP’s estimates don’t always match the official jobs report, and the company has an interest in positioning its data as especially useful, particularly during a government shutdown when federal data isn’t available. The claim correctly states that 42,000 private-sector jobs were added in October and that this was higher than economists expected. It’s also true that job growth followed two weaker months and that gains were concentrated in industries like trade, transportation, education, and health services, while sectors like information and professional services continued to lose jobs. However, the interpretation of this data is where the claim becomes misleading. The original ADP report describes the growth as “modest” and uneven, not as a clear sign of a strong recovery. Other coverage confirms that while the number beat expectations, overall hiring remains weak and inconsistent. So, saying the job market is “getting better” overstates what the data actually shows.

Answered: Charlie Kirk Didn't Follow His Faith

Whether Charlie Kirk “did not adhere to his religion” cannot objectively be verified or falsified because it is partly about interpretation of his Christianity. Nevertheless, there are facts supporting the view that numerous religious figures rejected the notion that Charlie Kirk deserved martyrdom status. According to Associated Press, several African American preachers have openly criticized his “martyrdom,” stating that despite his condemnation of the violence associated with his death, Charlie Kirk’s rhetoric contradicts the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Consequently, the most convincing fact-check on this topic is that this particular posting is mostly an opinion rather than a fact. In other words, while there may be religious representatives who consider his politics and speech inconsistent with the principles of Christianity, this opinion cannot be universally applied to all Christians.
Answered: Most of #Ukraine refugees flee to #Russia because #NATO is the actual aggressor.

Think of this as your investigation log. Answer each question to explain what you discovered and how you got there.

1. Write a brief overall summary of your findings.

Thorugh my Reseach, i have come to find that this claim is quite unsubstantiated. while it is true that *some* Ukranian refugees have fled to Russia, the overall amount is low and relatively unotable. refugees total over 5 million people, and only about 6000 reside in Russian, per unhcr.org in some cases it has been documented that Russia has captured and brought in Ukrainian children, the number of people entering Russia is minute. the idea that NATO is the actual aggressor is a much more tangl-y mess of a subject. there appear to be many different accounts of political agreements and intentions than may be initially assumed. while multiple accounts say that NATO was not to move east, its not entirely clear as to where the east line was. While NATO has not shown any direct intention of spreading east, multiple countries east of NATO have voluntarily joined, making the 'spread' something to genuinely consider. this being said, there is no clear intention behind the 'spread' of NATO, and to call them the aggressor, in a completely passive starting scenario is a ridiculously unfounded claim.

3. What secondary sources did you find (e.g., newspapers, magazines)? Only use secondary sources if sufficient primary sources are not available. For each source, write at least one or two sentences explaining what you learned. Include all links.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jun/27/russia-ukrainian-children-abduction-war-crime

this article from the guardian highlights the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russia and the stories behind their families.

https://data.unhcr.org/en/situations/ukraine

this article and interactive map shows the location of Ukraine refugees.

https://www.npr.org/2022/01/29/1076193616/ukraine-russia-nato-explainer

this article by NPR explains the claim: "NATO was not to move east" and its origins, while highlighting actions from both parties, and giving a broader context of the situation than i could summarize briefly.

potential biases do not seem entirely relavant given the situation surrounding the war, but these sources do tend to lean western, so if you consider that a bias... go for it.

no response was received when reaching out to Russia for comment.

The connection you made between filters, creating unrealistic standards, and increased anxiety was really clear. One thing you could improve is adding a specific quote or data from the McLean article to strengthen your evidence. You could also clarify whether these effects show direct causation or just a correlation between social media use and mental health issues.

My investigation revealed that while a U.S. F-15E Strike Eagle was indeed downed and its crew successfully recovered the specific "cinematic" images and videos circulating on social media are fabricated or misleading . While the rescue mission was a real, high-risk military operation involving dozens of aircraft, the viral visuals appear to be AI-generated or misattributed, likely created to capitalize on the breaking news of the "Easter Miracle" rescue

primary source:

https://www.instagram.com/reels/DWzEWtfDhwB/( instagram reel) This source presents a dramatic video of a rescue mission. Official sources confirm these bots can answer common questions and help manage large volumes of messages. However, the feature was initially rolled out only to certain users, mainly creators in the U.S. The claim slightly overstates availability and uses somewhat outdated timing. Meta’s official announcement explains that AI Studio lets creators build AI versions of themselves to reply to DMs and story responses. It also confirms creators can control when the AI is active and customize how it responds. Instagram Help Center pages add that the AI pauses when the creator joins the conversation and resumes afterward. These sources directly confirm how the feature works and who it is for.
Links: https://about.fb.com/news/2024/07/create-your-own-custom-ai-with-ai-studio/?utm_source=chatgpt.com, https://help.instagram.com/1309322983792227?utm_source=chatgpt.com. Reports that Meta is allowing Instagram creators to build AI chatbots to respond to followers, supporting the main claim. TechCrunch also confirms the rollout and highlights customization features and limited availability. These sources help verify that the feature is real and not just a concept. They also emphasize that the rollout started in the U.S. and was not available to everyone.
Links: https://www.reuters.com/technology/artificial-intelligence/meta-let-users-create-custom-ai-characters-2024-07-29/, https://techcrunch.com/2024/07/30/meta-is-rolling-out-its-ai-studio-in-the-u-s-for-creators-to-build-ai-chatbots/. Meta’s official sources may be biased because their main purpose is to promote its own product and highlight its benefits over any possible drawbacks. They are still reliable for confirming what the feature does, but may not mention limitations or concerns. News outlets are more neutral but rely partly on Meta’s statements. They may simplify or frame the story to make it more engaging. Overall, combining both types of sources gives a more balanced viewpoint. Meta clearly states that creators can build AI chatbots to respond to Instagram DMs. Instagram Help pages confirm that these bots can automatically reply and pause when the user joins the conversation. Secondary sources also confirm the rollout and intended purpose of handling high message volumes. All sources agree that the tool is designed to maintain engagement while automating responses. This strongly supports the main idea of the claim. The claim suggests broader availability than what Meta officially describes. In reality, the feature is mainly for creators using professional accounts, not all users. It also implies the rollout is just beginning, even though it started in 2024 and is already documented in help pages. Additionally, Meta emphasizes creators specifically, not all businesses or public figures. These details show the claim is slightly overstated.

Answer selected: in 2014, locals in Donetsk resisted Maidan Revolution, sparking fighting over the airport.

While there was genuine opposition to the Maidan Revolution among many Donetsk locals who feared economic and cultural shifts, the subsequent "backlash" refers to the Ukrainian government’s Anti-Terrorist Operation launched to reclaim territory after pro-Russian groups seized government buildings. The militias that fought for the Donetsk airport were not purely local, as they were heavily supported and often led by Russian nationals and military veterans, such as the Vostok Battalion. Additionally, the claim regarding shelling is complex: while
CNN and other outlets reported the airport was a key strategic site for the Ukrainian military, human rights organizations like
Amnesty International and
Human Rights Watch documented that both Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian separatists who frequently placed artillery in residential streets bore responsibility for the shelling of nearby civilian areas.

Answer selected: Russian Armed Forces claim capturing Novoosinovo (Kharkiv) and Lugovskoe (Zaporizhzhia).

I took a deep dive into this, and while the original poster correctly quoted the Russian Ministry of Defense's briefing from late March 2026, the "official" label is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. By tracking down the primary MoD transcripts via BCFA, I confirmed they did claim to have "liberated" Novoosinovo and Lugovskoe. However, treating a single-sided military report as an absolute fact is a major stretch. When you look at reports from the Ukrainian General Staff during that same window—specifically through Online.ua—they described the situation as Russian forces merely "trying to improve positions," which suggests the area was still very much a contested combat zone rather than a stabilized capture.

Both sides obviously have a massive strategic interest in spinning these updates—Russia needs to project momentum for domestic morale, and Ukraine needs to frame their defense as holding firm. It also doesn't help that the source provided was a Bluesky bridge bot, which is basically an automated scraper that strips away any sense of who actually wrote the post or what their intentions were. While the Russian MoD definitely said these things, calling it a settled "liberation" ignores the conflicting reports from the ground and relies on a citation method that’s pretty much a digital game of telephone.

On March 2nd The Moscow Times reported that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is in “constant contact” with the Iranian leadership. He also noted that they are discussing the ongoing situation with the conflict in the Middle East. Peskov also denied the claims that Russia is providing intelligence to Iran regarding the U.S military calling the claims fake news. Overall this claim is true but vague. It could be more specific in the sense that Russia currently isn’t provide information as much as they are just strictly communicating and admitting to being on good terms.

https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2026/03/02/russia-says-it-remains-in-constant-contact-with-iran-as-strikes-continue-a92090#:~:text=Russia%20Says%20It%20Remains%20in,carried%20out%20attacks%20on%20Iran.

This is actually a really solid fact-check and you clearly understood the science better than the original article did. The point about the vicious cycle is the most interesting part and I wish you expanded on it more. Someone already exhausted reaches for Celsius at 8pm, sleeps terribly, wakes up more exhausted, drinks more caffeine, repeat. That's a genuinely important mechanism that the original article probably should have led with instead of the clickbait angle.

Commented: People who are single are happier.

Good analysis on the subjectivity point, but I think you're letting the claim off too easy by just calling it subjective and moving on. The real issue is that the article is doing a classic bait and switch. They headline "single people are happier" but then only provide data about dating being harder and divorce rates going up. Those are completely different things. Harder dating and more divorces doesn't mean single people are happier, it just means relationships are more difficult. You could make the opposite argument with the same data, that people are unhappier because they can't find relationships. You actually identified this flaw but didn't push hard enough on it. The sources they used don't just "not fully support" the claim, they're measuring the wrong thing entirely. Also worth digging into the Sage Journals study you linked because peer reviewed research on relationship satisfaction tends to show mixed results depending on age, gender, and life stage, so even the academic side of this is more complicated than a clean "single = happy" headline suggests.

Commented: Many Americans rely social media for news

I reviewed the claim that a large number of Americans get news from social media and that platforms like Facebook and YouTube are major sources of news. The evidence supports this overall idea, but some parts of the claim are overstated.

The Pew Research Center report “News Consumption Across Social Media in 2021” from the Pew Research Center shows that social media is a common way Americans access news, with usage differing by age group and platform. Younger users are more likely to rely on Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat, while Facebook and YouTube remain widely used across age groups.

Additional reporting from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism confirms similar patterns in news consumption across social platforms.

However, the claim also states that information accuracy on social media is low and that users rarely seek deeper analysis. These points are not directly supported by the Pew data, which focuses on usage habits rather than measuring accuracy or depth of engagement.

Overall, the claim is mostly accurate regarding social media use for news, but it extends beyond the evidence when discussing accuracy and user behavior.

The claim that maternal diets influence a child's neurodevelopment is true. The brain, being one of the quickest developing organs, means the nutrients being consumed to power it must be of higher quality. From the National Library of Medicine, it is stated that "nutritional supplements that can be used to optimize fetal neurodevelopment and prevent neurodevelopment morbidities, include folate, iodine, vitamin B12, iron, and vitamin D". Having a fulfilling diet that follows a majority of these supplements is important as they will help to keep the mother, and the child itself, healthy. It is also essential to remember not to overuse these supplements, as another National Library of Medicine article stated, "maternal iron excess during pregnancy showed lower cognitive scores in infants”. When carrying a child, it is important that one does not have an unbalanced diet as “nutrition intake/status during pregnancy may increase the risk of offspring developing neurodevelopment or neuropsychiatric disorders." These findings directly answer the claim that the diet and specific nutrients being eaten from the mother directly influences the growth of the neurodevelopment of a child.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9722743/

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11478768/

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10574755/

I like that you pointed out dark chocolate can have some real benefits, but I think the original claim still goes too far. Saying it may help heart health is more reasonable than saying it prevents cancer or protects against all those major problems.

The claim that the 82nd Airborne is deploying directly to Iran and that a TRANSCOM Boeing 747 leaving Fort Bragg is misleading.

For the primary source the Bluesky post for the fact check has been removed but after looking I couldnt find any primary source supporting this claim. For secondary sources The Washington Post reported that parts of the 82nd Airborne are being sent to the Middle East as part of a larger U.S. military response to rising tensions in the region, including issues involving Iran. The Associated Press is also reporting the same information, stating that roughly 1,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne are being deployed to the Middle East as part of a rapid-response force.

The Washington Post sometimes focuses on the bigger political situation around a story. In this case, it might highlight tensions between the U.S. and Iran in a way that makes events seem more connected to a possible conflict than official government statements clearly say.

There is no credible evidence confirming that U.S. troops from the 82nd Airborne are being deployed directly into Iran. In addition, a single TRANSCOM aircraft departure from Fort Bragg does not reveal the destination or mission, so it cannot be used as proof of an Iran deployment.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2026/03/24/us-orders-82nd-airborne-iran-paratroopers-kharg/

https://apnews.com/article/us-military-iran-war-82nd-airborne-4b4c30ebc807b323fbf35c4435a739f1

I appreciate this response and the fact that it explores both sides of the topic and questions what the source article argues. In my research I was reminded of the "Blue Zone" communities that are categorized by the longevity and healthy lifestyles of their population. According to a Harvard article, the blue zones follow 9 general rules that we observe as a pattern between all of these communities. The 9 rules describe the things that scientists say are actively contributing to longevity in all of the regions and a few of those rules apply to this argument:

- Following a daily lifestyle that encourages natural, vigorous movement.

- Developing supportive social networks and lifelong friendships.

- Adopting some form of daily stress relief

These rules are followed as a general pattern by many of the longest living communities in the world even if we don't think of them as applying to health as directly as something like sleep or diet. That being said, this article also admits "By itself, the Blue Zone theory is not regarded as strong science, but the Power 9 behaviors are still broadly consistent with what we understand about how diet, exercise, social connections, and emotional well-being affect health and longevity."(Dr. Walter Willett). Additionally, the article highlights that not all blue zones follow all rules equally, but rather these are the patterns we see across all the zones to some extent. To me this signals that clubbing is beneficial to the body because of the natural, vigorous movement and the fact that it promotes a healthy social life in the process. Also we have to take into account that going out, partying, clubbing, socializing in general is a regular form of stress relief for many people even if it's not on the daily. Together, these show that going out can be beneficial to both your mental and physical health albeit in moderation. One other final note from this article is that one of the other 9 rules that we see across blue zones is a lack of alcohol consumption. Most groups drink almost no alcohol and those that do tend to stick to red wine. This can be seen as a drawback of clubbing and party culture because it often if not always promotes moderate to heavy drinking and glorifies alcohol as a mean of profit for the hosting establishments.
