1. Write a brief overall summary of your findings. I learned that the claim very much exaggerates a real environmental concern. Plants have NOT stopped absorbing carbon dioxide, but climate change may be weakening their ability to absorb as much as they used to.
2. What primary sources did you find (e.g., transcripts, videos of politician speeches, tweets from public figures, scientific studies)? For each source, write at least one or two sentences explaining what you learned. Include all links.

I learned plants are still absorbing carbon dioxide through photosynthesis, but some forests are absorbing less than before. Climate stress is reducing how effectively some ecosystems store carbon dioxide.
3. What secondary sources did you find (e.g., newspapers, magazines)? Only use secondary sources if sufficient primary sources are not available. For each source, write at least one or two sentences explaining what you learned. Include all links.

This website also backs up the claim that they still do but its weakening
4. What potential biases or interests might each of your sources have?
The NASA source may emphasize the urgency of climate change. They dramatize to add that urgency
5. What evidence supports the claim you are fact-checking?
Studies show some forests are absorbing less but they still infact do. Saying they don't while they do is a misleading claim.
6. What evidence undermines the claim you are fact-checking? plants still absorb carbon dioxide through photosynthesis this process has not stopped
